Voting the bums out only works when there is a reasonable presumption of integrity in the system.

If an amount within the margin of error is swung from minus to plus by bad actors, the result still can be held to reasonably reflect the will of the people. Much as I disliked W, this is what happened in 2000. What his administration then did broke the system beyond repair. The hegemonic security state was given unlimited power which can’t be removed by voting. Chuck Schumer was right about that if nothing else. The Democrats are bought in because whatever their ideology, they too are about control and using other people’s money against them.
When bad actors use various means to manufacture millions of votes, use the criminal justice system for political persecution, and then claim a valid result; only a fool trusts the integrity of the system.

Uh, no it isn’t. Not when it’s abundantly clear that everything is being sold to the highest bidder and run by the most horrible people, who stay there no matter who wins.
The Democrats think they are winning and have the people at their backs because they outpoll Republicans. They aren’t seeing that their real opposition may swiftly go from voter apathy to something far more serious. Moreover, it doesn’t matter whether they claim a mandate because they allegedly possess a simple majority in obviously rigged elections. They have jumped the shark and don’t yet realize it.
When it comes down to it, they create solidarity when they throw everyone they don’t like in jail. They make brothers out of people who never knew they were on the same team. That’s how we get born again hard.
Understand that abandoning their institutions and building an alternative society alongside the one they control is the only positive long term solution once they have corrupted everything. However, freedom isn’t free.
