I have my own theory about the sin of Onan. While many view The Bible as a foundational and reprehensible example of repression by the patriarchy, this and many other misandric references create a more nuanced picture of the growth of culture and institutions to support gynocentrism and procreation over against the interests of men. Women and men are wired differently. On balance, women want security and need to get it from others, be they husbands, extended family, religious institutions or government. Men crave freedom and the opportunity to replicate themselves widely. Ergo the war of the sexes driven by our natures. Men also have a protector instinct and strong cathexis which women can authentically benefit from or cynically manipulate.
As for me, I can have compassion for them individually but collectively am hard pressed to care or fall for their nonsense, be they SJW’s or tradcons. It takes a truly exceptional woman now to rise above this. Finding an available one to whom I would be attracted is nearly a statistical impossibility and I have better ways to spend my time than looking for needles in haystacks. In any case, as an under-employed 60 something I am redacted to women who are 6’s and 7’s, let alone those who are 8’s, 9’s and 10’s. I would not voluntarily let a woman know any details of my finances, let alone appear as anything other than asset poor, which makes me a nonentity. Frankly this is a relief. I make it a policy to treat people the way I want to be treated while avoiding romantic entanglements. This is easy when you aren’t looking and wear a cloak of invisibility.
Recently feminism, social media and the dysfunctional nanny state have disrupted the longstanding ways women have of nesting institutional support for their interests in society at various levels. This corrosive cultural effect may not be a sufficient condition, but is palpably a necessary one behind less frequent pair bonding, falling birthrates, high divorce rates; and lots of frustrated, lonely and increasingly impoverished women and children. Men are realizing as never before that they are better off not getting hitched and playing the field if they are young, attractive and/or affluent. For the most desirable (to women) men, this is easier than ever. Women still pick men based on rules of hypergamy which modern economics, education and technology have rendered counterproductive for family creation or maintenance. For the vast majority of men there is little or no chance to find an interesting mate. If you are a male in the middle of the bell curve on looks, education and income you aren’t on the radar of women who are the same. Get over it. Mostly this means women have totally screwed themselves or are victims of their sistahs and the best/worst men. This is true all over the world now, at least in major cities with prevalent Western “values”. However, the problem is particularly acute in the United States.
The pervasiveness of vaxxing means most women now carry toxic mRNA and spike protein which they will pass on to any offspring they unilaterally decide whether or not to terminate, in addition to representing conventional STD risk. No thanks.
Men in most places have responsibilities but no rights with respect to their offspring, irrespective of whether they intended to have them or even know of their existence. Fatherhood is therefore a mode of enslavement.
Sperm counts have been falling for decades and this is accelerating. You’d think this would be something worth serious study but it’s uninteresting to the people who sell Roundup, cellphones and vaxxes so fuggeddaboutit.
There’s a crisis among children who are raised without fathers, or for whom fathers are presented as problems or idiots. Where men generally are exhibited as useful tools, desserts or worthless baggage, the results are terrible for both girls and boys, and all of society suffers for it.
The human race is in serious trouble and the rich fools can go ahead and try colonizing Mars. It doesn’t matter if you can’t reproduce and have destroyed the family as an institution.
I have said the unsayable here so of course death, or at least social annihilation, are my fate. Saying my bullshit detector is operating doesn’t make me a misogynist. For those who scream that it does, my answer is the same one I give to the still rabidly Ronamania hoodwinked: try to imagine how little I care.
